2000-2014年台灣現代文學作品改編劇場研究─以《閹雞》、《清明時節》為例

摘要


「台灣現代文學作品改編戲劇」在台灣現代劇場中,已經成為一種創作類型,展現文學與戲劇對話的可能性與空間。本論文試圖提出一個參照文學社會學取向,來考察台灣當代思維下的台灣現代文學作品改編劇場。 本論文研究主題為二十一世紀以降台灣現代文學作品改編劇場。首先,以台灣現代文學與現代戲劇的發展為底景,探討台灣現代文學與戲劇間的辯證關係與台灣現代文學作品改編的歷史進程。其次,探討2000年後的台灣現代劇場中台灣文學作品改編的現況與特色。在改編模式上定義為「忠實型改編」、「調整型改編」、「對話型改編」三種改編類型;而藝術特徵上則表現了「家」、「自我認同」、「女性」的重要特色。最後,以《閹雞》和《清明時節》為例,具體說明台灣現代文學作品改編過程中的現代意義,亦援用接受美學視角,將戲劇評論做為檢視工具,為台灣現代文學作品改編戲劇作進一步補充與檢視。 本論文以台灣現代文學作品改編劇場的「歷程」、「作品」、「觀眾」三者出發,試圖看見文學跨領域的潛力與「台灣現代文學作品改編戲劇」在台灣現代劇場中的定位。期望藉由這樣的定位進一步尋繹台灣現代文學劇場的面貌與重要社會意義。

The adaptation from Modern Taiwan literature to theatre has become one of the popular genres in contemporary theatre in Taiwan, which renders the possibility and room for dialogues between literature and theatre. In this study, the sociology of literature is adopted as reference to observe and investigate the adaptations from Modern Taiwan literature to theatre under the contemporary thinking. The focus of this study is on the contemporary works of adaptations from Modern Taiwan literature to theatre in Taiwan, ranging from 2000 to 2014. First of all, with the development of modern Taiwan literature and modern theatre in Taiwan as background, the dialectic relation between modern Taiwan literature and theatre as well as the historical process of adaptations from Modern Taiwan literature to theatre in Taiwan are discussed. Secondly, the current situation and characteristics of adaptations from Modern Taiwan literature to theatre in Taiwan after 2000s will be further analyzed. In the aspect of categories of the adaptations from Modern Taiwan literature to theatre, there are Loyal mode, Adjustment mode and Dialogic mode respectively. Besides, as for artistic characteristics, the three significant features— family, self-identity and female— are presented and studied. Last but not least, two dramatic theatre-- Yan Ji(Castrated Chicken)and Qing Ming Shi Jie will be served as examples to specify the contemporary meaning of this kind of adaptation. Also, from the angle of reception aesthetic, theatre criticisms are utilized to examine deeper into the adaptations from Modern Taiwan literature to theatre, in the hope of making contributions to supplement the insufficient part of this field. This study begins with the “historical process,” “works,” and “audiences” of adaptations from Modern Taiwan literature to theatre, with the attempt to discover the interdisciplinary potential of literature, and the status of the adaptations from Modern Taiwan literature to theatre in the contemporary theatre in Taiwan. Most importantly, based upon the status of adaptations from Modern Taiwan literature to theatre, the appearance of the contemporary theatre in Taiwan, and its significance to the society are expected to be further explored and researched.
