台灣青年國家認同的自我敘說建構

摘要


本研究希望探討在目前國家認同分歧的現況下台灣青年的國家認同的建構歷程以及相關生命經驗。本研究共邀請三位1980年後出生的台灣青年為訪談對象,每位進行1至2次的深度質性訪談,並使用敘說分析中的「整體-形式」以及「多重自我的對話與轉化」的研究方法分析資料,呈現研究結果。 本研究主要發現如下: (一) 個人的國家認同經驗須放置於主流敘事的架構中才擁有意義,亦即是敘說經驗要在特定的歷史文化脈絡中才可被他人理解。 (二) 三位研究參與者的生命早期先接觸到族群議題,並在之後的生命經驗中感受到其他群體的壓迫感受形成我群和他群的觀念,最後再連結到政治主張和政治理想。 (三) 三位研究者在個人生命早期描述較多關於族群和文化方面的經驗,並在生命後期的階段描述較多自己在社會、政治和制度上的經驗。 (四)三位研究參與者的國家認同的發展並非呈現線性的階段發展,而是始終處於不斷循環的動態過程,其動態循環的歷程為「覺察認同線索」、「調適認同衝突」、「適應認同混亂後成長」和「實踐認同產生行動」。 (五) 個人的國家認同發展歷程受到社會歷史脈絡的影響極深,但個人在社會脈絡中依舊具有能動性。 (六) 研究參與者的國家認同的生命故事中,主要有代表理性和代表感性的兩個主軸,此兩個主軸會與其他不同位置的觀點相互建構形成屬於個人的國家認同故事。 最後,根據研究發現,本研究進一步提出研究限制、研究建議和研究者反思。

This study hopes to explore the construction process of the national identity of Taiwanese youth and related life experiences under the current situation of the differences of national identities. In this study, three Taiwanese young people born after 1980 were invited to interview, each of whom had been conducted one or two in-depth interviews, using the "whole-form" and "multiple self-conversation and transformation" in narrative analysis. The research method analyzes the data and presents the research results. The main findings of this study are as follows: (1) The individual's national identity experience must be placed in the framework of the mainstream narrative to have meaning, that is, the narrative experience must be understood by others in a specific historical and cultural context. (2) These three research participants faced with the ethnic issues in the early life, and in the later life experience, they felt the oppressive feelings of other groups formed the concept of my group and other groups, and finally linked to political ideas and political ideals. (3) Three researchers described more about ethnic and cultural experiences early in their lives and described more of their social, political, and institutional experiences at later stages of their lives. (4) The development of the national identity of the three research participants is not a linear stage development, but a dynamic process that is always in a continuous cycle. The dynamic cycle of the process is “perceived identification clues”, “adapted identity conflicts”, and “adaptation”. "Growing with confusion and becoming mature" and "making identity action." (5) The development process of an individual's national identity is deeply influenced by the social and historical context, but the individual is still active in the social context. (6) In the life story of the research participants' national identity, there are two main axes representing rationality and representative sensibility. These two main axes will mutually construct views with other different positions to form a personal identity story. Finally, according to the research findings, this study further proposes research limitations, research recommendations, and researcher's reflections.
