含脂肪族配方之水性PU樹脂應用於織物表面撥水處理研究

摘要


我們利用含浸塗佈加工的方式將水性PU塗佈在聚酯(PET)織物上,目的在將PET織物表面呈現更疏水的性質。塗佈加工過程是首先將水性聚胺酯(PU)預聚物與脂肪族撥水官能基一定比例合不同方式進行合成分散於水溶液中,並稀釋15%至5%含浸塗佈在PET織物上之後,其具有撥水官能基的水性PU分散液會在織品表面上,利用常溫硬化反應,形成化學鍵結的互穿式網狀交聯(IPN)系統,崁入織物纖維之間,其高度架橋水性PU樹脂使其固定在織物纖維間,進而提高其耐水洗性。常溫交聯型PU在最適加工條件下,經撥水加工後的織物其對水的接觸角超過135°,且經過50次洗滌後仍能維持其原有的撥水效果。

Polyurethane (PU) skeleton consists of hydrophobic side-chains has been known for textile water-repellency treatment. PU prepolymers with hydrophobic hydrocarbon side chains obtained from the reaction of Isophorone diisocyanate(IPDI), glycerol, a higher alcohol (e.g. cetyl alcohol), dimethylolpropanic acid (DMPA) and polytetramethylene glycol-2000 (PTMEG-2000) in various ratios. Self-curable aqueous-based PU system is prepared from these resulted PU prepolymers by conventional process with a multi-aziridine curing agent (TMPTA-AZ). The water repellent polyethylene terephthalate (PET) textile is obtained by the treatment of this aqueous PU system with various hydrocarbon side-chain contents by dipping process. Aqueous PU is self-cured on drying and its curing reaction resulted in the formation of highly cross-linked interpenetrating network (IPN). This cross-linked PU with hydrophobic side-chains anchored into fabric fibers that enhance the water washing durability of treated textiles. This treated water-repellent textile (PET) has a water contact angle over 135°only with PU containing long chain hydrocarbons side-chains without any content of fluorine or polysiloxane.
