Historical Account between Mexico and Asia: the Context for a Strategic Relationship with the Republic of China (Taiwan)

The present study aims to understand the (political, economic, ethnic, social and historical) particularities that have brought Taiwan to the particular circumstances facing today; based on the higher or lower subordination, colonization, autonomy, self-sufficiency and other forms of Government which has been subjected it, largely impeding the completion of situations that allowed a plenty self-determination, against the commitment to any power nation which have ineracted with. At the same time, we discussed the international system during the 19th and 20th century, we also have distinguished the "Nations factor" that, in the last 100 years have played a decisive role in what Taiwan means today, this to understand the conditions that prevail at Taiwan and at these predominant actors, and in Mexico in the same period. Also, we made the comparative analysis in a similar period with Mexico as a nation that has also found commonalities are expressed experienced submission or colonial situations. With these elements discussed the possibilities that current conditions have both entities as allies in multiple subjects and the creation of a possible scenario in which Mexico would grant recognition to Taiwan met the conditions that the document raises in both, the definition of the status of Taiwan for itself.
