男性在婚姻初期中的調適歷程之敍說研究

本研究旨在探討男性在婚姻初期的調適歷程，採用質性研究進行半結構的深度訪談探討男性在婚姻初期過程中調適歴程的經驗、婚姻適應問題和衝突調適因應策略。本研究以三位婚齡為三年以上的已婚男性作為研究參與者，同時在婚姻初期需符合首次結婚，且在婚姻頭三年間沒有子女之條件。在訪談期間回溯其婚姻初期經驗，並以此期間的經驗為訪談焦點。研究結果顯示男性自覺在婚姻初期的調適過程困難且複雜，主要呈現在與配偶的關係，婚姻的預期與現實的落差，以及在當中情緒的表達。此外，男性在婚姻初期需調適的議題分為「夫妻關係的調適」、「角色與觀念的調適」與「經濟及財務的壓力」，亦即調適個人婚姻態度及男性角色的轉變。而在調適策略部份，男性在婚姻初期面對衝突多採用以安撫和接受為主要以持續維繫關係穩定為目標。研究者根據上述研究結果進行討論，實務工作者對正在面對婚姻初期的調適的男性提供情緒支持服務，並針對後續研究提出相關的建議。

This research aimed to unstand the adaptation process of men in the early stages of marriage by adopting a qualitative research method and conducting semi-structured, in-depth interviews. It purposes to study male experience in the marital adaptation process, marital adaptation difficulties, and related strategies to marital conflict during the early stage of marriage. There are three married male participants with a marital duration of over three years. They are sufficient of the conditions of early stages of marriage, that is, during the first to third year of marriage, they are the first marriage and no children. The interviews will focus on their experience in this period. The research results illustrated that men feel the difficulties and complexity of the adjustment process in the early stages of marriage,especially in the relationship with their spouses, the gap between marriage expectations and reality, and hard to express the emotion. Additionally, in the early stages of marriage, male marital adaptation themes can be divided into “husband and wife”, “role and cogitation” and “economic and financial” aspects. Meanwhile, men need to adapt to the changing roles. Third, men always use appeasing and acceptance as the adaptation strategies in the early stages of marriage to maintain relationships. Based on the research results, the researcher will make the discussions and recommendations for the consultant and follow-up researchers.
