東港東隆宮信仰與迎王平安祭

摘要

東港地區曾為屏東平原重要的商貿港口，係至後來，因為種種的因素，方才轉型成為臺灣重要的漁業基地。而迄今，其又再增添發展觀光旅遊，以試圖地打造出多元化的地方經濟發展。

「東港」也在此一發展的過程之中，由一個小地區的指稱地名，轉變成為一個鄉鎮區域的代稱名號。而東隆宮也從一間村莊聚落的村庄公廟，發展蛻變成全國的進香中心之一，並且亦為東港鎮之首要廟宇。

因此，本文便企圖地從此般歷史發展的情形之下，去討論東港東隆宮的廟宇沿革發展、東隆宮的祀神信仰與祭祀活動，以及東港迎王祭典的發展變化。同時，關於迎王祭典從籌備到舉行的流程次序，以及東港鎮之其他廟宇或民間組織為因應迎王祭典，而所進行的一些準備事宜，亦皆為本文所關心的重點。

Donggang region used to be an important trading port in Pingtung, However, due to various factors it was then transformed into one of Taiwan’s most important fishery industry harbor. And till now, in order to develop a much more diversified local economic, Donggang has now started their tourism industry.

During the developing process, Donggang has transformed from a small area into a township. Moreover, the village temple Dong-Long has also transformed into one of Taiwan’s Pilgrimage Center and become the main temple at Donggang.

Therefore, the purpose for this paper is to discuss Dong-Long temple’s development, belief and worshipping ceremony from their historical development. This will include the Wangye Worshipping Ceremony’s preparation process to holding, Donggang regions’ other temples and local authorities’ preparation for Wangye Worshipping Ceremony.
