「簡明日語」之相關研究―以對台灣的啟示為中心―

摘要


本研究旨在考察日本的「簡明日語」之相關研究及現狀,以釐清其功能及特徵,並同時啟示台灣發展「簡明中文」之可能性。因為1995年的阪神大地震時,發生許多外國人士傷亡,造就「簡明日語」之創造。當時,因為無法理解新聞播報等內容,而遲於避難或無法跟從指示行動,外國人所能得到的情報很少。在此之後,為了在災害發生時之情報傳達,能讓外國人採取適當的行動,將「簡明日語」應用於災害情報的實踐愈來愈多。並且,不只災害時,在平常、觀光、國際交流等方面,也能運用「簡明日語」,因此現在於各方面都很活躍。 在台灣,有許多的外籍勞工以及外籍配偶,而與台灣人結婚並移民至此的人們,我們稱之「新住民」。現行台灣為外國人所提供之言語協助有:多語言對應、為新住民開設中文班或是生活適應輔導班、華語文教育。但是,以上的言語支援皆擁有各自的不足之處,因此,我認為若導入如同「簡明日語」之語言制度,將得以補足其不足之處。而且台灣正在朝向多元文化共存邁進的途中,「簡明中文」所能發揮的功效值得期待。為此,本研究目的在於以「簡明日語」作為基礎,提出「簡明中文」之構想方案,並期望透過本研究得到中央政府或華語文機構的矚目,將「簡明中文」發揚光大。最後若是「簡明中文」能如願實施,想必本研究之成果能成為參考的對象。

This study aims to investigate the research and current status of "Easy Japanese" in Japan, to clarify its functions and characteristics, and at the same time aims to establish a "Easy Chinese" in Taiwan. During the Great Hanshin Earthquake in 1995, many foreigners living in Japan were injured or killed, this resulted in "Easy Japanese" being created. The casualties were largely due to the foreigners not being able to understand or follow the official safety instructions broadcasted on the news during the emergency. They could get very little information and were late in evacuating. Since then, there have been more practices of applying "Easy Japanese" to information transmissions during disasters in hopes of allowing foreigners to take appropriate action during these types of incidents. Recently, "Easy Japanese" is not only used in emergencies, but also in daily life, travel, international communication etc. It is now being used in all aspects of life in various fields. In Taiwan, there are many immigrant workers and foreign spouses. There are also people that immigrate to Taiwan due to marriage with a Taiwanese citizen, these people are referred to as "Taiwanese new Immigrants". In recent years, there has been a lot of language support provided to these foreigners, these include: Multilingualism, Chinese classes and life adaptation classes for the Taiwanese new Immigrants, and Chinese language education at mandarin language centers etc. However, all these language support systems each have their own disadvantages, and so I believe introducing a system similar to "Easy Japanese" to Taiwan would solve these problems. Additionally, Taiwan is slowly evolving into a multicultural society, and I believe the benefits of "Easy Chinese" is something worth looking forward to. For this reason, my study aims to use "Easy Japanese" as a reference to put forward the idea of "Easy Chinese". I hope that through my study, "Easy Chinese" will attract the attention and gain the recognition of the central government and Chinese language institutions in order to let people know more about my ideas for "Easy Chinese". Ultimately, if "Easy Chinese" becomes a reality, the results of my study could be used as a reference.
