摘要

本論文以文獻分析旨在了解第一年由台灣農技團在尼加拉瓜推廣及生產改良稻米和豆類種子的Gallopinto計畫成效，以便創立社區種子銀行。
論文的資料來源包含網路新聞、社群網站、雜誌、政府單位報告以及官方網站等等。透過訪問此項目的參與者，因此獲得了一系列的數據使筆者得以完成這項研究。
全文由五個章節所構成，後附上相關參考資料及附件，使本論文更豐富、更具說服力。
在第一章中闡述了此研究的目標、貫穿論文的問題以及動機。除此之外也提及了此論文的研究限制。
第二章闡述台灣與邦交國進行合作時所本對外政策及合作原則，也提供尼加拉瓜接受外援及與合作夥伴進行合作時所秉持的核心原則。
第三章提到理論的框架，闡述了支持尼加拉瓜與台灣雙邊合作的不同理論。
第四章介紹相關合作計畫-特別是在稻米及豆類。了解每個計劃的內容、執行目標及預期結果。
第五章也是最後一章，呈現了兩個計畫實施一年後的成果。

The present documental descriptive approach thesis has the main objective to analyze the progress in the production, promotion and introduction of improved seeds of rice and beans in Nicaragua for the establishment of Community Seed Banks, during the first year of the Gallo Pinto Project implemented under the direction of the Taiwan Technical Mission.
Through data gathered from various sources on the internet – online news reports, social media, magazines, government organizations reports, official websites, etc. – and also through interviews with the main stakeholders of this project, is that we were able to arrange a data series which helped us to accomplish the main objective of this research.
The thesis is organized into five chapters, references and annexes are also added to enrich and support the reported information.
In chapter one the research objectives, main guiding question, and motivation of this research are presented. In this chapter, challenges faced while conducting this research are also discussed.
Chapter two presents foreign affairs policies and also the policies or cooperation origins that laid the ground for the decisions taken by the Republic of China (Taiwan) towards its allies, moreover, the foundations that govern external cooperation or support received by the Republic of Nicaragua from donor countries, allies or friendships are also presented.
Chapter three covers the theoretical framework, in which different theories that support the bilateral relation between Nicaragua and Taiwan are explained.
Chapter four presents the projects – for rice and beans -, a description of the content of each project is made, the objectives to be achieved and expected outcomes after conducting these projects are also introduced.
Chapter five, which is also the last chapter, shows the results obtained from both projects after one year of implementation.
