This research is aimed at two mothers who brought up Homeschooling Children, explored their motivations for choosing homeschooling, how to put their children in their own homeschooling, and how to practice the role of their motherhood. The research uses narrative research as a method, and collects data through a semi-structured interview outline. Based on the "whole-content" method of data analysis, the findings are as follows: 1. Mother's motivation for choosing homeschooling: The two mothers chose homexchooling far because they were immune to the negative influence of traditional education system, but also because they pursued their mother's personal ideals of education. 2. Dedicated to the child’s homeschooling, the practice of the role of motherhood. With the support of their husbands, the two mothers have created an open and flexible teaching environment to cultivate their children’s outstanding abilities. In addition, in terms of the stability of the self-study environment, when the family system’s external boundaries are clearer and flexible, it will enhance the emotional stability in the family system, which indirectly helps self-study life. Both mothers break the traditional social and cultural framework for motherhood, and their workplace work has a considerable standard in terms of professionalism and competitiveness, due to their psychological capital and social capital. 3. Self-actualization of motherhood: Under the narrative analysis of this research, the self-learning education that originally took children as the main body, after the two mothers mobilized their psychological capital and social capital, seemed to escape the position of taking the motherhood as the functional object and move towards a self-fulfilling subject. The path of motherhood practice for self-taught mothers also becomes the path of self-realization. Based on the above-mentioned findings and conclusions, this study further provides suggestions to parents, education researchers, counselors, and those who will pre-study this topic in the future.
