隨著建築設計過程中所涵蓋相關領域的大幅拓展,計算機與通訊技術已然成為當代建築設計程序中必然被應用到的相關領域。若是以設計規劃過程中操作計算機的過程來判斷,營建體系可以說是已經全面進入資訊科學主導的時代。因此,本論文的研究目的,便是發展一套適合當代設計工具的設計操作方法。 『格狀城市』是一種連結結構主義模組化概念,與矩陣化資料表現結構的設計方法。它把設計者將資訊化約輸入計算機的過程,指涉為一種結構主義操作衍生式運算的設計方法。因此,『格狀城市』一方面利用資訊科學技術對結構性分析與邏輯運算規則。另一方面,在操作的過程中重新思考計算機技術對設計概念發展的意義。 『格狀城市』結合結構主義模組化的操作方法、計算機的模擬特性與運算功能以及資訊科學時代對城市空間衍生出來的新概念。其目的並不但在於發展出一套新的設計方法,更企圖透過應用當代的計算機計術,發展設計者對理想化城市空間的想像。並且透過這段研究的過程,尋找烏托邦建築的可能性。
Accompany with the extending of design process, the technologies of computer and communication have became into necessary domains in contemporary building systems . According to the ratio when designer using computer as custom tools in design process, architecture design has totally gotten into the information science direction . Therefore, the purpose of this paper is trying to develop one kind of computer aided architectural design (CAAD) methodology . “Grid City” is a kind of method, which connects the frame idea of matrix in information theory and the concept of Modularization in structuralism . This “Grid City Method” regards the reduction for inputting data as the generative rules in structuralism . Thus, the process of this method present the value of framing analysis and the importance of logical rules, in information systems . Meanwhile, “Grid City Method” also appeal rethinking the meaning of information technology for developing concepts . “Grid City Method” combines the concept of module in structuralism, the simulation and operation of computer, and new ideas of city space in information science age . This research not only suggests to develop a new type of method, but also use contemporary tools, which is computer right now, to improve designers’ images of ideal city . And then, this research attempts to discover the possibilities out of utopia .
