第三代城市是對於工業城市中的廢墟之重新省思,讓城市、人類、與自然和平共生。本研究主要針對第三代城市理論中的自然部分,並藉由電腦輔助設計軟體的幫助下,解析自然界中的形態、幾何、元素,探討其生成的邏輯及衍生的模式,更進一步的了解自然生成的脈絡,也透過其探討自然形態應用於建築設計領域的可能性。 本研究主要分為三個階段:第一階段是對於自然形態的分析,藉由以自然為出發點之相關案例作為操作方向,探討自然形態生成的規則,試圖嘗試了解自然形態應用於建築元素中的可能性;第二階段為自然紋理與形態分析,針對建築與自然的關係,藉由參數化設計工具探討數學演算法與自然的關係,對於自然紋理進行參數化的分析操作;第三階段為自然形態可建構性之探討,本階段將整合之前的研究成果,針對自然形態的建構性進行討論,藉由網格化以及體素之概念,嘗試將自然形態重新組構,試圖探討自然形態之建構。 本研究主要透過參數化設計系統的架構,這樣的操作方式以不同於以往僅以直觀地模仿自然的外在形式,藉此得以了解自然紋理形成之過程與邏輯。並且透過參數化的電腦輔助設計之技術,結合數據、資料、演算法、變數等參數值的調控,以參數化模型探討自然紋理之可建構性。
The third-generation city is the introspective reflection for the ruins in the industrial cities, as it promotes a natural and peaceful symbiosis for cities, people, and nature. This research focuses on the part of nature in the theory of the third-generation cities, and it analyzes with the CAD software the form, geometry, and elements in nature by studying the formative logic and the generative model to understand further the natural patterns, as well as the possibility of the applications of the natural forms for architectural design. This study composes of three sections, as the first section analyzes the natural forms and explores their formative principles in an attempt to understand the application possibility of the natural forms in architectural elements; the second section analyzes the natural patterns and forms in terms of the relationship between architecture and nature, as well as explores the relationship between mathematical algorithm and nature through parameter design tool by analysis with parameters towards natural patterns; the third section explores the constructability of the natural forms, which would consolidate the aforementioned study results to discuss the constructability of the natural forms through the concepts of grids and voxel, in an attempt to re-construct the natural forms. As this study aims at intuitively imitates the exterior forms of nature through the construct of a parameter design system, it seeks to understand the formative process and logic of natural patterns. And with the aid of CAD technology with design parameters such as data, information, algorithm, and variables, etc., it builds parameter models to explore the constructability of the natural patterns.
