IPv6未來發展策略分析與探討

摘要


隨著科技的快速發展,網際網路已經改變了人類的生活型態,變成生活中不可或缺的一部分。近年來,由於網路服務型態的多元化,網路使用人口也大幅增加。因此,IPv4位址空間不足與設計不敷使用的問題也逐漸浮現,繼而有新一代網路協定「IPv6」的誕生。 政府自2001年起由行政院科技顧問組發起IPv6工作小組後,開始致力於IPv6的建置,自2003年起,正式將IPv6建置發展計畫列入「挑戰 2008:國家發展重點計畫」中的的重點發展項目。經過幾年來的努力,在亞洲亦已成為主要IPv6發展國之ㄧ。然而,從當前國內市場的需求不明、產業提供相關產品與服務仍有所不足情況看來,我國在IPv6的發展上並不如當初所預期。因此,如何及早發現問題的所在並建立相關對策,是目前的當務之急。 在本研究中,首先檢視各個IPv6發展國家之現況,並藉由探討商用IPv6之案例,從中歸納出該企業在轉換IPv6的考量點與實行成果,可為我國相關產業提供經驗作為參考。接下來,透過專家問卷,找出我國目前發展所遭遇之困難,並對未來IP位址需求來源、可能之殺手級應用與轉移策略進行預測,而後再透過深入訪談進行驗證,並從供應面與需求面進行影響因素的分析。最後,對我國IPv6的未來發展提出看法與建議。

With the Rapid development of technology, Internet has already changed the way of communication and plays an indispensable part of our lives. In recent years people benefit a lot from the wide range of Internet services and the number of internet users increase fast with time. Because of the demands of Internet applications, the issue of IPv4 address exhaustion has been addressed by many experts and researchers. Thus, the idea of NGN (Next Generation Network) was proposed in the mid of 1980s and entered the era of IPv6. Taiwan IPv6 D &D Program is part of National-scaled “Challenge 2008” initiative and supervised by Ministry of Transportation and Communications since 2003. With the efforts in the past few years, Taiwan is transformed into one of the countries with the most-advanced IPv6 network. However, the present domestic market is not as prosperous as expected originally and the industries did not offer enough product lines at the moment. In this dissertation, we would overview the current development in those countries with IPv6 network. Then the case studies of difference commercial IPv6 services will be explored. By so doing, we hope to find a suitable business model for the migration from IPv6 to IPv4 in enterprises’ perspective. And then, a questionnaire would be conducted in order to find out difficulties and concerns about the issue. Further, from the study of different cases and current Internet trend, we would predict future solutions to the exhaustion of IP addresses and also hope to find out the killer applications which can help promote IPv6 applications among the users. Also interviews will be a main source for the analysis and predication of future IPv6 development in Taiwan.
