分享實時視頻流的新型行車記錄器之研究

The Study on a Novel Driving Video Recorder for Sharing Live Video Streams

摘要


本研究使用兩塊樹莓派開發板分別連接USB網路攝影機,模擬車上所裝設的行車記錄器,分別稱之為A、B板。A板更改開發板的網路組態設定,將之變為一Wi-Fi熱點發射器。透過Wi-Fi配置設定將SSID及密碼更改為車牌號碼,再將A板使用開源網路架構Flask進行影像串流,使得攝影機所拍攝的即時畫面透過網路進行串流分享。接著使用另外一塊樹莓派開發板B板,利用B板的攝影機進行畫面截取偵測車牌,系統判斷偵測到A板的車牌後執行自動車牌辨識ANPR。之後輸出ANPR信心度最高的辨識係數車牌字串,將辨識出的車牌字串以樹莓派Wi-Fi配置的格式輸入設定到B板。在重啟系統後B板就能連接A板之無線網路熱點。 最後在瀏覽器中輸入IP地址,可以查看A板之攝影機畫面,即前車視角。如果通信距離足夠,系統可以通過前車連接下一個前車,將範圍擴展到更遠的地方。經過實驗測試,在無任何遮擋的情況下,目前A板之Wi-Fi訊號距離最遠可達30公尺。在有物體遮擋的情況下,A板的Wi-Fi熱點訊號強度可能會因為不同遮擋材質而有所不同。我們透過USB連接外接部Wi-Fi模組,可以提升訊號強度以及有效距離。 車載通訊系統除外,若將本論文之概念應用在目前市面上的各式行車輔助駕駛裝置上,應能夠有效提升用路人的安全,不論是行車中的駕駛員,亦或是穿越馬路中的行人,都能夠獲得更高的用路安全體驗。

This study utilized two Raspberry Pi 4 Model B boards connected with individual USB webcams to simulate the dashcam installed on the car. After editing network configuration settings, the Raspberry Pi board A (Board A) will turn into a Wi-Fi hotspot access point. Then, we replace the SSID and password with the license plate number through the Wi-Fi configuration settings and start Flask for video streaming on Board A. After that, using the Raspberry Pi board B (Board B) to capture an image, Board B's program will determine any license plate (LP) in the screenshot. After the system confirms, it executes the ANPR program. ANPR will output the LP string of the highest confidence coefficient and copy the LP string to Board B's Wi-Fi configuration settings. After restarting the system, Board B will connect to the Wi-Fi of Board A. At last, by keying in the IP address to the browser, we can check out the live stream from Board A, which is the view of the front car. The system can connect the next front car via the front car and extend the scope far ahead if communication distance is enough. After experimental testing, Board A's Wi-Fi signal distance can reach up to 30 meters without any obstacle. In the case of something blocking, the signal strength of Board A's Wi-Fi hotspot may differ due to different blocking materials. We can increase the Wi-Fi signal strength and effective distance by connecting an external Wi-Fi module via a USB port. Except for vehicular communication systems, if this concept is applied to the dashcams nowadays, it should improve the safety of passers-by effectively and accomplish the objective of reducing traffic accidents in Taiwan.
