Salvadoran coffee stands out as a beverage with a pleasant and penetrating aroma. A flavorful cup with good texture, a lot of acidity and body. Due to this reason and through different processes, El Salvador sought different ways to increase its coffee exports to countries like Taiwan. One of the solutions to increase and facilitate exports between these two countries was the implementation of the free trade agreement (FTA) signed in May 2007. In this research, we developed a brief analysis to understand the impact of these agreements, linking the growing demand for coffee in Asia and the ease of export from El Salvador. At the end of this paper, I provide five recommendations in order to overcome different factors affecting directly coffee exports from El Salvador towards Taiwan.
