A Weight-Based Energy Recharging Scheme for Wireless Rechargeable Sensor Networks

Wireless rechargeable sensor networks are caused to the majority of the attention in recent years, most papers used mobile rechargeable vehicle (MRV) to recharge sensors. Because the MRV energy capacity is limited, there is no way to ensure that all Sensors can be recharged in the field, so when the sensor is dead, the network is easy to have coverage holes, leading to the original wireless sensor network functions are restricted. Therefore, we design a weight-based rechargeable scheme to find the high weights sensors in network and ensures the sensors can be recharged, so that the network life cycle can effectively continue. We also design a traveling path method for MRV, MRV helps sensor recharging according to the weight values sequentially. In experimental simulation we based on the assumption of network architecture to simulate area coverage for network, and find out the situation of each Sensor coverage through the simulated network conditions, we use the method to calculate the weight of sensor, we can find the high weight of Sensor. MRV recharges high weight Sensorsto decrease network’s the opportunity of dead.
