摘要
黃春明的小說多以小人物為主角，書寫社會底層小人物的故事，這些小人物的社會地位卑微，生活備受屈辱，卻從不放棄生存的尊嚴與生命的價值。筆者生於鄉土、長於鄉土，因此黃春明的作品深深撼動筆者心靈。 筆者細讀黃春明的小說，發現小說中的主角以男性居多，這些男性角色依年紀、性格、命運等，呈現不同樣貌。於是筆者提出問題意識，界定研究範圍，再廣泛閱讀相關的研究成果和評論資料，依文本分析法、文獻分析法、歸納研究法等，撰寫第一章〈緒論〉。 知人論世，要了解黃春明的作品，必須先了解黃春明的生命歷程。是以本論文第二章〈黃春明的生命歷程與文學創作〉論述作家的家庭背景、成長過程、求學歲月、文學奠基、工作體驗、社會變遷與文學創作的關係。 黃春明小說中的男性，角色大致上為祖父、父親、兒子、孫子等，顯示以家庭為主的傳統社會背景。本論文以黃春明之小說作品作為研究核心，針對小說中的男性角色加以歸納、分析，並依照身分區分為祖父、父親、子孫輩，再依照人物性格加以分類，依序撰寫本研究之第三章、第四章、第五章。 第三章〈黃春明小說中的年邁長者─祖父及獨居老人角色〉分為：守護家園者、孤獨居處者、經驗傳承者；第四章〈黃春明小說中的一家之主─父親角色〉分為社會邊緣者、困苦掙扎者、忍辱負重者；第五章〈黃春明小說中的香火傳承者─子孫輩角色〉，分為：持守道德者、冥頑抑鬱者、天真善良者。藉文本內容了解作家如何塑造各種男性形象，並以文本的文字舉用相關人物佐證。 第六章〈結論〉歸納全書各章，綜合論文研究內容，多面向探討黃春明小說中的男性角色。首先點出黃春明的作品與個人生命經驗的密切關係，接著分析男性角色之命名原由和形象塑造，最後論及人倫親情的彰顯。 本研究針對黃春明小說中的男性角色加以探討，從黃春明不平凡的經歷，可以瞭解他對鄉土的濃烈情感、對小人物的崇敬之心。他的作品以豐沛的情感、生動的文字，描繪一幅幅淳樸的鄉土畫作。 論文撰寫過程中，承蒙指導教授崔老師成宗，時相指點迷津，且不厭其煩地逐字逐句修改潤飾，裁成之恩，不勝感激。

Most of the stories written by Huang Chun-ming, whose main characters are small characters, write the stories of the little people at the bottom of the society. The social status of these little people is rather humble and their lives are humiliating. They never give up the dignity of life and the value of life. I was born in the native land, longer than the native land, so Huang Chunming's work deeply shakes the author's mind.
When I read Huang Chun-ming's novels carefully, I found that the protagonists in the novels are mostly men. These male characters show different appearances according to their age, character and destiny. So the author put forward the problem awareness, define the scope of the study, and then widely read relevant research results and comment data, according to text analysis, literature analysis, induction research, writing the first chapter.
To know people in the world, to understand Huang Chunming's work, we must first understand Huang Chunming's life course. This chapter discusses the writer's family background, growth process, school years, the foundation of literature, work experience, social change and literary creation based on Chapter Two of Huang Chun-ming's life course and literary creation.
Men in Huang Chunming's novels generally play roles as grandfathers, fathers, sons, grandchildren and so on, displaying the traditional social background with family as the mainstay. Based on Huang Chun-ming's novels, this dissertation summarizes and analyzes the male characters in the novels, and divides them into grandfathers, fathers and children according to his or her characters, and then writes the third Chapter, Chapter IV, Chapter V.
