Since our country life Insurance density and penetration increasing, and consumer protection trending, the life insurance dispute solution system cannot solve life insurance dispute efficiently. Therefore, this research is for the utilization of discussing the unfair methods of competition or unfair and deceptive acts and practices, unfair claim settlement practices, other misconduct, discrimination in New York Insurance law, unfair claims settlement practices of the New York Department in USA, complaint handling procedures of the Financial Ombudsman Service in Financial Services Authority handbook, the Life Insurance Consultation Center rule of the Life Insurance Association of Japan and the life insurance dispute solution system of Taiwan to analyze and compare important elements of efficient life insurance dispute solution system. Moreover, it provides suggestions to the matters, which are mentioned in this thesis and need to be modified. It is hoped that our life insurance dispute solution system could be more efficiency.
