智能障礙者的誕生往往讓家庭需要面對各種不同的壓力與挑戰,可能會造成家庭功能失調,且希望家庭能回到所謂的穩定狀態,而家庭復原力即是一個重要的因素。家庭復原力不但會影響障礙者的發展,也會因著家庭的信念系統、組織模式及溝通過程而對家庭產生不同的樣貌。 因此,本研究旨在瞭解智能障礙者家庭的家庭復原力如何影響家庭的運作,同時也透過此研究來瞭解智能障礙者及其家庭如何知覺家庭復原力在他們生活中的研究。研究方法採用質化研究且以立意取樣的方法訪談智能障礙者及其家庭成員,藉以瞭解他們怎麼看待家庭復原力在他們家庭之間的運作。 研究結果簡述如下:(一)跨家族的力量:受訪的家庭不僅只有一家四口在面對困境,而是智能障礙者父親及母親的原生家庭都投入共同面對困境,家族的投入,使得智能障礙者的家庭成員不會求助無門。(二)不同角色的影響:在家庭當中,每個人都有自己角色,當其中一個或兩個角色很努力地在為家庭努力的時候,也會帶動其他成員一起勇於面對挑戰。(三)解決問題能力的產生:在訪談中研究者發現,有些生活當中的問題,沒有真的遇到,對智能障礙者來說是會不知道如何處理的。但研究中發現有些東西沒有教條,智能障礙者必須自己去經驗去生活,遇到了才會去思考怎麼解決。(四)看見智能障礙者的優勢:研究發現看見智能障礙者的優勢很重要,這不僅能改變我們個人的態度,也會為家庭帶來不同的可能。(五) 不同家庭的連結帶動家庭復原力:比較有經驗的家長可以分享自己的經驗給別的家長。在這個分享的過程中,每個家庭不僅加深了自己家庭的復原力,同時也帶動了其他家庭的家庭復原力
The birth of people with intellectual disabilities often makes families face different pressures and challenges, which may cause family dysfunction. That hope the family can return to the alleged stable state, and family resilience is an important factor. Family resilience will not only affect the development of people with disabilities, but also affect with belief system in family, organizational models and communication process which has a different appearance with the family. This study seeks to understand how family resilience in families with intellectual affects family operations. Simultaneously, this study is also understand how people with intellectual disabilities and their family perceive family resilience in their lives. The study method uses purposive sampling and interviewing people with intellectual disabilities and family members. That understand how they see family resilience working between their families. The study results were as followed: (1)The power of the cross family: Not only the family of interviewed is facing difficulties, that the original family of the parents who are both facing the same dilemma. Clan spending keeps family members of people with intellectual desabilities from asking for help.(2) Impact of different roles : In the family, everyone has their own role. When someone works hard for the family, It will also affect other members to face the challenge together. (3) Develop problem-solving skills: A situation never encountered, which with intellectual disabilities will not know how to deal. The research found that people with intellectual disabilities must encounter problems themselves before thinking about how to solve them.(4) Discover the advantages of people with intellectual disabilities: It is important to discover the advantages of intellectual disabilities. Not only can change our attitudes, but also bring different possibilities to the family. (5) Links between families drive the growth of family resilience: More experienced parents can share their experiences with other parents. In the process of sharing, each family not only improves the resilience of its own family, but also initiation the resilience of other families.
