偶像劇中的厭女情節指標建構:跨文化比較

摘要


本研究以當代偶像劇當中的女性角色建構與情節表現為主題,將視域放在大陸與台灣當下熱播的偶像劇當中,意通過跨文化對比了解在或相似文化氛圍、社會議題與或不同的製作重點、媒體政策等影響下,兩地偶像劇當中的女性意識表達會出現怎樣的異同點。 文獻回顧部分,過往影視文學作品中女性角色時如何表達,以及在女性主義研究學者們視角中女性角色是在被怎樣呈現的,進行對比與梳理,後整理跨文化比較之相關文獻,揭示在相似文化(大陸與台灣)中進行文化比較之重要性。 透過專家問卷調查的德菲法,分別請教來自大陸、台灣共十四位分佈在相關學術領域、影視劇實業領域之專家學者,研究結果發現台灣偶像劇的厭女情節主要體現在: 1. 傳統觀念對女性角色性格存在影響,對男主人公始終順從且處弱勢; 2. 女性在社會角色與能力上強化,但成長過程中可能需要男主人公指引; 3. 女性在工作上達成一定成就與地位; 4. 當女性角色的個體表現優秀時,男主人公或有更優秀表現。 大陸偶像劇的厭女情節主要體現在: 1. 呈現刻板化的女性特質,但不突出表現母職角色; 2. 在男主輔助下成長。

This study focuses on the construction of female characters and the representation of storylines in contemporary idol dramas. It aims to understand the similarities and differences in the representation of female consciousness in idol dramas in Taiwan and mainland China under the influence of similar cultural atmosphere, social issues, but different production priorities and media policies. The review of literature summarise how idol dramas in Taiwan and mainland China have been localised from Japan and Korea, and compares how female characters have been represented in past works of film and television works, and how these characters have been presented from the perspective of feminist scholars. This is followed by a review of the literature on cross-cultural comparisons, which explains the importance of cultural comparisons in similar cultures. As the feelings of readers are very subjective and difficult to summarise in theoretical literature when using idol drama as a text, this study adopts online structured focus group interview as one of the research approaches, and then, conducts interviews with six readers who have five to ten years of experience in watching idol dramas of Taiwan and mainland China. The interviews were then summarised and combined with the literature review to induce the indicators of female portrayal and misogyny of idol dramas, which were categorised into five levels and used as a source of questions for the subsequent Delphi expert group questionnaire, and as a reference for other scholars. Through a survey of fourteen experts from Taiwan and mainland China, the study identified four constructs (15 indicators) for Taiwanese idol dramas and two constructs (6 indicators) for Mainland Chinese idol dramas, also identified three major similarities and differences through cross-cultural comparisons. Finally, in the conclusion chapter, this study summarises and reflects on the omissions in the research process. It is hoped that the presentation of female characters in idol dramas, or in the wider genre dramas, will become more diverse and autonomous, and that their roles will no longer be confined to the templates set by binary gender stereotypes.
