里德索羅門碼與交層編碼多階層陪集碼之聯結

摘要


藉由結合多個組成碼與陪集碼之集合分割,多階層編碼系統為非常有用的技術。而聯結編碼可藉由短的組成碼建構出長的區段碼。本篇論文提出一項里德索羅門碼與多階層編碼之聯結,藉由聯結一個外部里德索羅門碼與一個內部交層編碼多階層陪集碼,我們能夠設計出具有相當大編碼增益的聯結編碼糸統,而其解碼複雜度不會太高。模擬的結果顯示了我們所提出的設計之效能在低訊雜比時比低密度查核碼還要好

The multilevel coding technique is a powerful method for constructing coding schemes from component codes in conjunction with set partitioning of coset code. The concatenated coding can construct long block codes from short component codes. In this thesis, an Reed-Solomon(RS)-concatenated multilevel coding scheme is proposed. By concatenating an outer Reed-Solomon code with an inner interlevel-correlated multilevel coset codes , the concatenated coding scheme can achieve large coding gain and low decoding complexity. Simulation results show that the proposed coding scheme outperforms Low-Density Parity-Check(LDPC) codes at low signal-to-noise ratio.
