在無線通訊系統之中,時空區段碼是一種在多個發射天線的雷利衰減通道中提供良好的傳輸效果的技術。給定一個正交時空區段碼,多階層時空區段碼可藉由多維星座圖的集合分割設計而成,由於經過正交時空區段碼的傳送,所有資料可以確保訊號空間分集。 在此篇論文,提出一個在時空區段碼中採用層間編碼技術,藉由引用相鄰間區段之間相互記憶的層間編碼之後,在沒有減少最小距離的情況下,使用層間相關與傳統方案的比較之下可以提升碼率,效果更佳。在解碼方面,可以使用籬柵圖與軟式決策計算儲存距離,接著使用Viterbi來做解碼。模擬結果顯示,我們提出的方法能夠設計出在解碼低複雜度的情況下,產生相當大編碼增益的編碼系統。
In wireless communication system, the space–time block coding technique provides good error performance for transmission over Rayleigh fading channels using multiple transmit antennas. For a given orthogonal space-time block code, the multilevel space-time coding scheme is designed by combining several component codes in conjunction with set partitioning of the signal constellation. Since all the coded symbols are transmitted via an orthogonal space-time block code, full diversity can be warranted. In this thesis, the interlevel coding technique is introduced in the multilevel space-time coding scheme. By providing interlevel coding between adjacent blocks, the coding rate of the interlevel-correlated scheme can be increased without decreasing the minimum distance as compared to the traditional scheme. The proposed coding scheme has trellis structure and can be decoded with the soft-decision Viterbi decoding algorithm. Simulation results are provided to demonstrate that the excellent error performance and low decoding complexity.
