冷凝區微結構對均熱板性能影響之研究

Study on the Performance of Vapor Chamber in the Wick of Condensation Zone

摘要


研究應用不同的機械加工方法來製作,均熱板冷凝區微結構(毛細結構),並探討冷凝區微結構對均熱板性能的影響。機械加工分別使用三種製程技術:噴塗(電弧熔射)、噴塗加酸蝕、噴砂和機械加工溝槽之表面粗化方式製作,來製作不同的冷凝區毛細結構,並探討微結構性能參數(表面形貌、粗糙度、潤濕性)之關係,藉由使用粗糙度量測與潤濕角輔助分析微結構。 研究結果顯示,粗糙度與潤濕性對微結構有直接影響。噴塗冷凝區疏水性的微結構表面之熱阻低於親水性表面的微結構熱阻,噴砂及酸蝕等表面,呈現親水性及粗糙度偏低現象,無法達到均熱板冷凝區對疏水性微結構的基本需求。此外機械加工溝槽密度會影響蒸氣的導引及熱阻變化。

This research applies three different machine-finishing methods and one additional process to manufacture the wick of the condensation zone (capillarity structure inside a vapor chamber). These machining approaches are, spray coating (electric arc melt shoots), corrosive spray coating, sand blasting and machine-finishing trench. The interaction of the performance parameters, such as surface morphology, roughness, wettability, of the wick of the condensation zone are also investigated. Roughness gauging and contact angle auxiliary are used to analyze the microstructure. The results show that roughness and the wettability have the immediate influence to the microstructure. The spray coating on the wick of the condensation zone are hydrophobic and its thermal resistance are lower than that of the hydrophilic surface, surface by sand blasting and surface by pickling on the wick of the condensation zone show lower hydrophilic and less roughness properties. It appears that theses are not able to reach the basic criteria of the hydrophobic property in the wick of condensation zone. In additions, the machine-finishing trench density will affect the vapor guiding and the change of thermal resistance.
