J-Sim之IEEE 802.15.4 DSDV路由模組模擬與效能分析

摘要


現今無線感測器網路的主流規範為電子電機工程師協會(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, IEEE)所發展制定的IEEE 802.15.4標準,旨在於對應低速率無線個人區域網路(low-rate wireless personal area networks, LR-WPANs)所發展的國際標準。然而,因應設計與發展無線感測器網路(wireless sensor network, WSN)的通訊協定及其應用,監控並評估WSN的運作情形是必要的工作,且基於成本的考量以及硬體執行的困難度等條件下,採用軟體模擬的方式來進行WSN的評量為一個有效率的解決方針。 由於NS-2網路模擬架構,以C++為主軸所開發,但缺點為記憶體配置需要詳加考慮以節省記憶體使用量,開發較不易,且設置模擬環境不易,模擬樣本數皆受到限制。有鑑於此,本論文沿用J-Sim網路模擬架構驗證其可替代性與效能最佳化,此為使用JAVA所開發的架構,具有高度泛用性、延展性以及擴充性。 本研究於已擬定的IEEE 802.15.4協定模組上,以J-Sim架構設計DSDV(Distance-Sequence Distance-Vector)路由協定,並設置大規模節點測試其延展能力以及記憶體使用量。最後,由實驗結果分析其模擬數據來得知DSDV路由協定基於IEEE 802.15.4運作時,環境參數設置的影響與重要性,以及與預期結果相符的結論,此外也証實了J-Sim之模擬能力。

In the cause of the application requirement of wireless sensor network (WSN), whose communication protocol usually adopts IEEE 802.15.4 (low-rate wireless personal area networks, LR-WPAN) for low power, low cost, low data-rate, but long lifetime applications including WSN. However, in order to enable the design and development of new WSN protocols and applications, they are necessary to monitor and to evaluate the operation of WSN. Furthermore, the researches of routing protocols can improve that the WSNs’ communication efficiency. In terms of these, evaluating WSN in simulation is an effective and feasible solution under constrains of hard to actually implement and cost consideration. NS-2 is a network simulation framework, written in C++ and a language called Otcl. However, it is hard to develop in WSN simulations, because of generality, scalability and extensibility. In terms of these, the J-Sim network simulation framework, which is combined with IEEE 802.15.4 protocol module is used. In this thesis, the routing protocol called DSDV, which is designed. The simulation result was shown that the influence of some parameters is very important to DSDV protocol, such as beacon value, node development and setting time. Finally, the decision of the conclusion that helps us to find out DSDV protocol is not fit in IEEE 802.15.4.
