本文主要目標在於改善手持式數位視訊廣播技術標準(Digital Video Broadcasting-Handheld;DVB-H)資料鏈結層接收器的效能。DVB-H規格中並未規定資料鏈結層解碼方式,我們提出錯誤及抹失傳輸串流解封裝(Transport Stream Error and Erasure Decapsulation;TSEED)的方法,利用傳輸串流(Transport Stream;TS)封包檔頭中的傳輸錯誤指標 (Transport Error Indicator;TEI)判定封包是否含有錯誤的位元組,有條件的保留含有錯誤的TS封包,再配合錯誤及抹失里德所羅門解碼(Reed-Solomon Error and Erasure Decoding),大幅提升可更正資料的比例。論文中我們以均勻(uniform)通道和馬可夫(Markov)通道分析新方法的效能,最後並討論錯誤及抹失里德所羅門解碼的解碼錯誤偵測方法及其解碼結果的可靠程度。
The purpose in this paper is to improve the performance of receiver in Digital Video Broadcasting-Handheld (DVB-H) Link Layer. Because DVB-H standard does not command a decoding method of Link Layer, We proposed a Transport Stream Error and Erasure Decapsulation (TSEED) which decided a Transport Stream (TS) packet with byte error by Transport Error Indicator (TEI) in the TS packet header. In addition, the TSEED can decrease byte error rate effective by Reed-Solomon Error and Erasure Decoding. We use uniform channel and Markov channel to analyze the performance. We also proposed decoding error detective methods of Reed-Solomon Error and Erasure Decoding and discussed reliability of methods.
