聚對苯二甲酸乙二酯/己二酸(0.075莫耳比)/聚乙二醇三組份共聚合體物性之研究

Investigation on the physical properties of PET/AA(0.075mole ratio)/PEG Tri-component Copolymer

摘要


本研究聚合配方中,固定TPA 莫耳比(1)、EG 莫耳比(1.381)、AA莫耳比 (0.075 )與改變PEG 2000莫耳比(0.003、0.006 、0.009 、0.014 、0.020)進行共聚酯合成,經由NMR的分析確認三組分合成成功。DSC熱性質分析結果發現,隨著PEG2000添加量的增加會阻礙共聚合聚酯晶格的形成,導致熔點下降。此外再經由DMA、XRD分析結果發現,結晶溫度、玻璃轉移溫度與結晶度都有先降低而後升高的趨勢,推測原因為共聚合物配方中;TPA為苯環芳香族結構,單體結構立體障礙較大,因此AA與EG較容易發生酯化反應,而後添加參與反應的PEG2000共聚合結構中則容易產生random與block結構,也因為這個現象發生,容易讓PEG2000產生水解反應,因此導致共聚合物耐衝擊強度、彎曲強度均隨著PEG2000添加量而下降。另外利用Cole-Cole plot來探討高分子材料熔融態的相容性,發現三組分共聚合物添加0.003莫耳比PEG2000熔融態相容性較佳。結晶行為的部份,利用DSC分析與Avrami方程式進行三組分共聚合物等溫結晶的探討,結果發現三組分共聚合物在溫度160℃下接近二維平面的方式進行結晶,而在較高的等溫結晶(180℃與200℃)下,則是以一維線性的方式進行結晶。

In our investigation for the copolymer of biodegradable polyester. We had set the formula as TPA mole (1), EG mole (1.381), and AA mole (0.075). We set PEG2000 as a variables to different mole as 0.003, 0.006, 0.009, 0.014, 0.020 to process copolymer. From the result of NMR analysis, we confirmed the 3-component copolymer was successfully formed. By DSC thermal property analysis, we had discovered that by the increase of PEG2000 dosage will obstruct the formation of lattice, it leads the decrease of melting point.From the analysis of DMA and XRD, we had found that there is a trend of first decrease and then increase from Tm, Tg, and the degree of crystallinity. We estimated that TPA of the copolymer formula is a benzene ring aromatic compound, its monomer has stronger steric hindrance. As a consequence, AA and EG are easier to happen esterification. Then we added PEG2000 in the copolymer formula, it is easier to occur random and block structure. As the effect occurred, we had found that PEG2000 easy to lead to hydrolysis reaction. So by the addition of PEG2000, the copolymer’s impact strength and bending strength will decrease.Finally we used Cole-Cole plot to discuss about the compatibility of polymer material melting state. We had discovered that addition of 0.003 mole PEG2000 in 3-component copolymer has better melting compatibility than PEG2000. When we talking about crystallization behavior, we used DSC analysis and Avrami equation to discuss isothermal crystallization behavior of 3-component copolymer. We had discovered that 3-component copolymer was crystallized in two-dimensional plane under 160℃. In higher isothermal temperature (180℃ and 200℃), it was crystallized in one-dimensional linear mode.
