在本篇論文中,我們提出一個新的多階層陪集碼架構。外部碼方面為一組低碼率的迴旋碼為母碼,與利用此母碼及斲刪之技術建構出高碼率的斲刪迴旋碼為主。這些斲刪迴旋碼皆可利用基於母碼架構下的腓特比解碼器解碼。內部碼為區段碼之子集分割。與母碼比較,此新架構可穫得較高之編碼增益。
We propose a novel design of multilevel coset codes. We use a low-rate convolutional code as a mother code, and generate some high-rate punctured convolutional codes from the mother code. By using these punctured convolutional codes as ther outer codes, a single Viterbi decoder of ther mother code is needed to perform the multistage decoding. The inner codes are constructed based on set partitioning of a binary linear block code. The simulation results show that the proposed coding scheme outperforms the original mother code.
