國家圖書館自修室座位選擇之研究

摘要

因個人空間的維護，以及維持私密性的需求，在公共空間中的人們，會下意識的「躲」到符合自己內心期望的環境因子中，用這樣的行為來滿足對此環境的感受。本研究藉由進行32天，每天連續2hr的觀察，記錄使用者於國家圖書館公共自修空間中選擇座位之趨向，經由描述性統計分析後可發現，258個座位間有著不一致入座率，有明顯的趨向指向擁有某些特定環境因子之座位較受歡迎，具有較高的被選擇性。本研究分成三種不同的環境因子進行分析比較，本研究結果經過整理可列出以下幾個趨勢：(1)在三種桌位之入座趨勢中外桌角具有優先被選擇之入座趨勢，其次內桌角的受歡迎度略低於外桌角，中間位較不易優先被選擇，但是研究中發現，外桌角與內桌角所夾之中間位相較於兩個內桌角所夾之中間位入座機率較低，且較接近外桌角之內桌角入座率相對稍高；(2)相同桌位間之入座趨勢中，周圍有牆之外桌角入座率相對於未靠近牆面之外桌角較高，靠近入口處之中間位入座率較高；(3)不同面向之入座趨勢中可發現，面向窗外之座位較優先被選擇，而且入口處附近的座位，具有背向入口處之入座趨勢。
　　本研究結果指出，在不同的時段有不同的入座趨勢，先到的使用者會先選擇入座率較高的那幾個位置，且座位的選擇會受到已先到的使用者所選擇之座位的影響。

Because of the protection of personal space and to keep privacy in the public，people trend to hide in environment pattern which is just fit what they thought. This kind of behavior was people’s feeling of this environment directly. In this study, we carried out by 32 days continuous observation. During the observation, we observe user’s behavior of chose seat at study room in 2hrs per day. We also noted user’s trend of how to choose seat at the study room in National Central Library. We analyzed this data by SPSS and find a result that seats choices in the 258 seats have Significance Difference. Our results have direct evidence showed that people like to seat at a seat which has special environment pattern. Every different seat has different attraction for people, some of seats are popular, another are deserted. The seats located at table’s outside angle are more popular than seats located at table’s inside angle. The seat locate at table’s inside angle are more popular then the seat locate at middle of table. The seats located at table’s outside angle and the seat locate at table’s inside angle are also have big trend to be choose relatively.
In this study, we also found that seats have different trend to be choose from early moment to late moment. The earliest arrived user like to seat at which is close by wall, seat at the angle of table. The seat which be chosen by earliest arrive user effected another seats be chosen.
