為了使物性達到最佳的狀態,改質後的蒙托土必須達到剝離的狀態,合成4-(N,N-Diethyldithiocarbamylmethyl)benzyltrimethyl ammonium bromide作為我們蒙托土pk-802的改質劑,再以FTIR、X-ray、DSC及拉伸性質研究其物性。黏土的剝離變數很多,本研究改變三十幾種變數,如不同的水含量、不同的溶劑含量、不同的單體,以探討不同的條件對物性的影響。本研究得到30%高含量的clay納米複合材料。另外本研究將Clay加入ABS、SBR後,研究其機械性質,結果發現當ABS和SBR奈米複合材料含有3wt%的clay含量時有最好的性質。
A living free radical polymerization is used to modify the clay.The clays are exfoliated even with composites containing 30wt% of clay.30 different variables are used to investigate the exfoliated nanocomposites.The composites are studied by FTIR,X-ray, and Instron. Finally,the polystyrene nanocomposites are fabricated by adding the clay-polymer blend to ABS and polymer.It is found that the ABS and SBR nanocomposite possess the excellent properties when its clay contents is 3wt%.
