工程科技教育認證即是本系所依據與ABET實質相當的認證規範AC2004+,完全自發性地自我檢視教育成果的過程。由凝聚系所同仁對改善教學品質的共識,並加入學界、業界的意見以形成系所使命、教育目標及教育成果,來徹底檢視本系所的體質:教育目標、學生、教學成效及評量、課程之組成、教師 、設備及空間、行政支援與經費,形成各種持續改進之機制並確實運作,在積極爭取學校的支持及資源以進行持續改善行動中,可大幅提昇畢業生的素質及其職場的競爭能力。藉由工程科技教育的推動,將能提昇本系所工程教育授課品質,改善學生學習效率,並使課程充分配合業界用人所需,系所課程目標亦可彈性配合科技發展及業界需求進行調整,以增加畢業生之就業機會與發展空間;依據其教育任務與宗旨也能找到系所之明確定位,進而強化系所於國內競爭力,以吸引更多優秀學生入學。
Accreditation of Engineering Programs, is a complete spontaneously self-inspection education achievement process of the institute bases on Accreditation Criteria 2004+ which is equal to Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. From condensing the department colleague to the common understanding which improves teaching quality, and joining the opinions of educational and industry circles to form department's mission, educational objective and education achievement, can look over this department physique completely:Composition, teacher, apparatus, space, administration's supporting and funds of educational objective, student, teaching result and commenting amount, course. It form various mechanism that improve continuously and work really. We strive for the school's support and resource actively in order to improve department continuously, can promote the graduate's quality and competitive power of job market. By the pushing of accreditation of Engineering Programs we can promote the quality that the project educates, give lessons of our department and improve students learning efficiency and make course fully satisfy with suitable person that industry needs. On the other hand, the course can be adjusted flexibly by matching up the development in science and technology and industry, in order to increase the graduate's employment opportunity and development space. According to it's task of education and object can find the claear location of the department. Further it strengthen competition of the department in the domestic, in order to attract more outstanding students to enter our school.
