本論文利用直序超寬頻(DS-UWB)的四種位元率傳輸模式(包括110、220、330以及660 Mbps)及自動回覆要求(ARQ)的『ARQN』統計量,提出一種進階型適應性位元率切換策略以克服[23]架構所存在的若干問題。我們在CM1∼CM4通道環境下依據多種通道變化條件進行一系列模擬,實驗結果顯示此進階型機制的確可以有效估計通道狀態,進而在高低位元率間自由切換,因此大幅提昇了DS-UWB通訊系統的資料傳輸量。同時在此機制中,我們亦將各個位元率切換架構模組化,以方便未來其他位元率之嵌入。
An advanced adaptive data rate switching scheme employing four data rates of DS-UWB system (110, 220, 330, and 660 Mbps) and ARQN statistics of stop-and-wait ARQ scheme is proposed to overcome the drawbacks of the strategy proposed by Peng in [23]. A series of simulations is conducted over the UWB channels including CM1, CM2, CM3, and CM4 with various channel conditions. Experimental results indicate that the proposed scheme can effectively follow the channel conditions to adaptively switch the data rate; thus significantly improving system throughput. Furthermore, we also modulize each data rate switching unit so that more units can easily be integrated into the proposed scheme in the future.
