摘要

本論文是在Android平台研究開發嵌入式行動裝置，目標是實作雙顯示輸出並可支援HDMI數位輸出。硬體方面採用Qualcomm公司的QSD 8系列晶片並搭配ADI公司的HDMI晶片，設計在自製的開發實驗板上。軟體方面是以Android open source code (linux-2.6.27核心) 為主，實做LCD驅動程式以及HDMI驅動程式，達成雙顯示輸出功能，並且得以輸出HDMI數位訊號。讓可攜式行動裝置也能具備有大畫面及數位訊號高畫質延伸輸出的顯示能力，而不再是只能從小螢幕顯示器上觀賞操作的設備。

This thesis is a study and implementation of mobile device on Android platform. To implement the function supports dual display which is a digital HDMI signal to an external output. We used Qualcomm’s QSD 8K series of chip and ADI’s HDMI IC to design the system on our own evaluation board, in which the software is based on Android open source code (linux-2.6.27 core). The implementation which we did supports the High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) output. It made portable device not only support external output for better resolution but also support digital output for better definition.
