汽車銷售量不斷攀升,消費者使用停車場機會增加。自助服務科技(SSTs)具有減少服務成本之特性(Meuter et al., 2000),已經成為停車場服務自動化之趨勢。台灣現有停車場自動繳費機種各不相同,使用者介面缺乏精確的引導,造成操作上的遲疑甚至失誤,也失去了自助服務科技之優勢。 操作自動繳費機的過程中,介面是產品與消費者溝通的橋樑,引導消費者直覺地、無誤地完成繳費作業。本研究藉由文獻探討與現況觀察,將使用者介面之任務引導歸納出兩種模式:(1)指向式符號引導,以螢幕顯示引導符號,迅速將使用者引導至正確操作位置;(2)依照視覺動線理論配置操作元件,提供順序式的排列,讓操作更流暢。根據以上兩種符號引導模式進行操作績效比較驗證。 重要實驗結果說明如下:(1)與現況介面相比,指向式符號引導與視覺動線引導皆顯著減少操作時間;(2)不同環境光源顯著影響操作時間;(3)有無時間壓力對各步驟操作時間有顯著影響。(4)建議:在不改變現有機台之情況,可採用符號引導之方式;設計新式樣之機台,宜採用視覺動線引導模式。
The sales volume of cars has been climbing, and there are more demands for parking spaces for consumers. One of the features of self-service technologies (SSTs) is that they help to reduce service costs (Meuter et al., 2000). It has become a trend of automation of services in parking lots. Currently in Taiwan, types of automatic pay stations differ in different parking lots. There is no precise guidance on user’s interfaces, that leads to doubts and even mistakes. In the process of operating an automatic pay station, the interface is the bridge between consumers and products, guiding consumers to resume payment operations intuitively without making mistakes. This study summarized two models of task guidance in user interfaces: (1) directional symbol guidance, with guiding symbols on screens to immediately lead users to the location of required operation, and (2) arranging operating components based on visual focus movements, providing an ordered arrangement to make operating process smoother. Then operating performance comparison verification for these two symbol guidance models was conducted. The research results are summarized as below: (1) compared with current interfaces, both of directional symbol guidance and visual focus movement guidance interfaces appeared to have better efficiency. (2) Environment illumination significantly influence operation efficiency. (3) The influence of urgency on operation efficiency was significant. (4) Suggestion: Under the premise of keep current stations, the symbol guidance method can be adopted. In case of new model development, visual focus movement guidance is the better choice.
