在本論文中,我們研究強誘電性液晶在水平配向與垂直配向下的配向均勻性。在水平配向條件下,在強誘電性液晶中添加高分子前軀體,並以UV光照射而得到均勻配向的液晶盒,其穿透率曲線為Half-V曲線。接著我們利用高分子搭配電場配向,不僅得到了無缺陷的配向結構,而且有對稱性的V-shape特性曲線。 我們也研究垂直配向液晶盒,並分別討論d/p<1與d/p>1的情況。發現在d/p<1時,較容易達成均勻配向的結果,但其未加電壓時的初始暗態有些許漏光的問題,因此我們改採用d/p>1的結構。在此結構下,由於其為垂直基板的螺旋結構,平均光軸垂直基板,所以有良好的暗態,且在光電特性的部分,具有對稱性的V-Shape特性曲線,響應時間也維持在微秒等級。另外,我們也在強誘電性液晶之中添加高分子,並分析高分子對於垂直結構強誘電性液晶盒的影響。
In this paper, we study the alignment uniformity in the horizontal and vertical alignment with ferroelectric liquid crystal. In the horizontal alignment condition, the ferroelectric liquid crystal polymer is added, and UV light irradiation to obtain a uniform alignment of the liquid crystal cell, the transmittance curve is Half-V curve. Then we use polymer under applied the electric field, not only achieve defect-free alignment structure, but there is symmetry V-shape curve. We also studied the vertical alignment liquid crystal cell, and are discussed d / p <1 and d / p> 1 case. Under the d / p <1 condition, the more easily to achieve uniform alignment of the results, but there is a problem, which a little light leakage at the initial state without voltage applied, so we change using d / p> 1 structures. In this structure, since the spiral structure is perpendicular to the substrate, the average optical axis perpendicular to the substrate, so there is a good dark state, and in the optical characteristics of the portion of the V-Shape symmetric characteristic curve, the response time is maintained in micro-second grade. In addition, we are also added polymer in the ferroelectric liquid crystal, and analyze the effect in vertical structure of the polymer ferroelectric liquid crystal cell.
