應用Petri Net於無線感測器之功率消耗分析

摘要


對於無線感測網路的應用,例如智慧家庭、工業監控、生物觀測,以及公共安全維護等,感測器的數量往往非常龐大,相反地,電量卻是相當有限。在感測器運作的過程中,有限的電量、處理器的運算限制及環境因素,皆會影響無線感測網路的功能。因此,降低感測器的電量消耗,以延長感測器壽命,是一個重要的議題。本文利用裴氏網路來建構一個感測器上之微控制器的主要工作流程,分析訊號以不同的頻率發送時對感測器電量所造成的影響。此外,針對發送與接收無線訊號的問題上,在原裴氏網路微控制器模型中加入描述無線模組功能的收發機制,藉此觀察同步訊號發送的時間對感測器電量消耗的影響。實驗中,透過無線感測器參數,結合已建立之裴氏網路模型,模擬不同情境中,感測器之耗電情形。透過模擬與實驗結果,可以評估一個感測器在佈點前的訊號發送與接收時間的電量消耗。

For the applications of WSN (Wireless Sensor Networks), such as: Intelligent House, Industrial Monitor, Biological Observation and Public Security Surveillance, the number of sensors is very considerable. In the contrary, the power of the sensors is quite limited. Limited power, computing limitation of processor, and environment factors could affect the functions of WSN when sensor is working. Hence, it is an important issue about saving the power and extending the lifetime of sensors. In this thesis, we model the workflow of a microcontroller on the sensor by Petri Net. According to the model, we analyze power consumption effect of the sensor with different signal propagation frequencies. Besides, with the problem of signal propagation, we add the mechanism of a radio module to the original Petri Net microcontroller model. We can utilize it to observe the power consumption effect of the sensor when radio signal is doing propagation. In the experiment, we combine the parameters of wireless sensors with the Petri Net model. Moreover, we simulate the power consumption of the sensors in different scenarios. According to simulation and experimental results, we can estimate the power consumption of a sensor before we set it in the real environment.
