董監事跨坐時間資料可視化

摘要


董監事跨坐(Interlocking Directorates)對於社會學者研究公司之間合作關係有重大影響,經過長時間跨坐改變帶來公司之間關係變化,傳統研究難以查找出其中改變的關係。因此本論文使用時間資料可視化(Temporal Data Visualization)技術來分析與呈現董監事跨坐所產生的相關議題。董監事(Directorates)擔任數家公司之情形在社會學上稱為跨坐現象(Interlocking),公司與公司之間所擁有合作關係之產生來自於董監事跨坐,象徵此兩家公司有密切關係。隨著時間推移,公司之間變化所產生的問題,難以用社群網絡(Social Network)的方法進行觀察。本論文使用正規格點矩陣(Regular Grid Matrix)表達公司間合作關係之變化,觀察公司間之關係找出跨坐特異點(Interlocking Singular Point),分別為持續特異點(Continue Singular Point)、斷裂特異點(Interrupt Singular Point)、重修特異點(Renewal Singular Point)跟嶄新特異點(Build Singular Point)。本論文貢獻為提出正規格點矩陣來呈現,使用歐拉圖層級與特異點分析來解決董監事跨坐資料不易觀察,協助社會學者研究董監事跨坐所產生公司之間合作方面的議題。

The study of Interlocking directorates makes an impact for sociologists who research on the relationship of company, and the relationship of all company change over an period of time, traditional research to find the relationship of company is difficulty. In this paper, we analyze the issue caused by Interlocking Directorates with Temporal data visualization technology. The phenomenon which directorates served for more than two companies is called “Interlocking”, The connection between different companies is built on directorates interlock. As time going, it is difficult to observe the problem from different companies by social network. In this paper, we use Regular Grid Matrix to display the company partnership that change over an period of time, our method observe the company partnership to discover Interlocking singular point, Continue singular point, Interrupt singular point, Renewal singular point, Build singular point. Our method Regular Grid Matrix resolve temporal data display inconvenient, using Euler diagram and Interlocking singular point Analysis of information for Interlocking directorates data, and assist sociologists to research the issue form interlocking directorates.
