現今液晶顯示器的產出數量逐年增加,並因應客戶的要求推出不同大小尺寸的液晶顯示器。由於品質為顧客消費的重要考量因素,因此面板製造商都希望盡其所能利用現有的資源來達成客戶對於液晶顯示器畫面品質的要求。本研究運用品質機能展開與模糊理論來了解面板製造程序與畫面品質要素之間的關聯性,品質機能展開是將顧客的想法納入考量,轉換成設計需求,製造出符合顧客期望的產品,而模糊理論可以處理定性語意判斷的不同,以及降低主觀判斷的差異。本研究結果發現,所有面板製造程序中,與面板畫面品質好壞息息相關的前五項重要的製程為玻璃基板清洗、FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit,軟性印刷電路板)壓合、鍍膜、去光阻與IC(Integrated Circuit, 積體電路)壓合。由品質屋的結果也顯示出畫面品質要素與製程之間的關係大小,其中以Mura(日譯,意旨色彩不均勻)與製程之間的關係最為密切,因為有許多製造程序會有產生Mura的可能。本研究的成果應可以協助面板相關廠商,以更有效率的製造程序生產出更高品質的面板。
The production of TFT-LCD panels has been increased year by year. Various sizes of panels have been produced to conform to customers’ requirements. Since display quality is one of the major considerations when customers buy a TFT-LCD panel, all the TFT-LCD manufacturers are eager to utilize their resources to meet customers’ requirements. The purpose of this study is to apply the fuzzy theory in the QFD method for realizing the relationship between TFT-LCD display quality and manufacturing processes. Before contructing the foundation of QFD, we need to understand customers’ needs and than convert them into factors for procduct design to make sure that new developing products are what the customers desire. Fuzzy theory was adopted to deal with the ill-defined nature of qualitative linguistic judgements and to reduce the differences of subjective ratings. Results showed that glass cleaning/FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) pressing/coating/stripping/IC (Integrated Circuit) pressing are the top five manufacturing processes to influence the TFT-LCD display quality. By further analysis, we also discovered the defect of Mura was assosicated with many manufacturing processes. The findings of this study should be able to provide useful information for TFT-LCD industries to produce TFT-LCD panels with higher display quality and more efficient manufacturing processes.
