以SOAP為基礎的異質平台監控系統研究

摘要


傳統的監視系統,大部份是基於閉路系統為基底來設計規劃。其監控點多為所屬範圍內的固定地點。由於線路的限制,無法將資料或訊息發送到遠端。此外,資料只能在控制範圍內中之系統中互相共用。由於監控範圍的限制,傳統的監測系統,往往需要大量的配線。這不僅在施工期間及擴建造成困難,同時也增加了成本。數位監視系統,一方面能充分利用網路的特點,另一方面也可根據其特有的功能,提供多種透過遠端電腦來完成線上直接存取或控制的能力,達到更容易管理歷史資料與備份。現今,透過第三代行動電話或掌上電腦的能力,一般的用戶可以更方便的達到遠端的控制與狀況掌握。 本論文試圖建立一個跨平台的監視系統。採用的封包訊息是基於標準XML格式而建立。利用XML標準的格式,就能實現跨平台的功能。由於SOAP是建置在HTTP上來開發之協定,透過HTTP之溝通方式,避開了被防火牆封鎖的問題。SOAP本身之開發架構擁有不受任何特定平台或語言的限制,有助於在不同環境下能夠順利模擬與測試。重點在利用異質平台來測試並模擬本研究中所提議之架構。同時也確保所有的XML文件,在基於XML與SOAP標準下和能夠和伺服端順利溝通,使得在監控系統上之應用,有了另一種選擇。

Traditional surveillance systems are designed based on closed-circuit systems. They monitor the environment within the scope of some fixed locations. Due to the line limitation, the information could not be sent to the remote sites. Also, the information can not be shared by multiple systems. In addition, because of space constraints, traditional monitoring systems often require a large amount of wiring. This not only causes difficulties during construction and expansion, it also increases the construction costs. Digital surveillance systems, on the other hand, take advantage of network features, which is available anytime and anywhere. It also provides multiple accessing capabilities of online systems that make the management of historical information much easier. Backing up can be done while the system operators are away from the computer. Combined with a 3G phone or a PDA, users can achieve the remote operations. This thesis tried to develop a cross-platform framework for surveillance system by collecting sensing data from servers. The information is packed using SOAP which is based on standard XML format. By utilizing the XML format, the proposed system is able to achieve cross-platform functions. Also, since the SOAP is developed on top of HTTP, it avoids a possibility of being blocked by the firewall. The developed framework does not assume any specific platform or language. A heterogeneous environment is used to test the proposed framework. This study also ensures that all XML documents have following the standards and can be read by clients smoothly
