隨著行動通訊的發展,現今對多媒體資訊傳播有了更大的需求,而如何在有限的頻寬下,提升系統容量增加通訊品質,智慧型天線之應用即成為重要研究。智慧型天線主要分為兩大種類,一為波束切換型,另一種為自適性天線陣列 本文應用的任意波束主動陣列天線是於波束切換型架構上的改良,利用主被動元件結合軟體的自動控制系統,可產生更多方向的波束場型,改善波束切換型上波束的限制,並於陣列天線的相位與距離擺設上作不同設定的探討。 最後,模擬室內環境使用各天線系統下的接收場強,由任意波束主動陣列天線量測出的實際場型作實際應用上時可以有10~30dBm接收效果的提升。在任意波束系統的使用下,不需如適應性天線中繁複的演算法,只要利用相位與天線場型間的關係,即時修正,即可得到最佳的波束場型。
With the development of mobile communications, multimedia services and applications have gained greater demanding in nowadays. How to raise the system capacity and improve communication quality in the limited bandwidth is a big issue. Application of smart antenna system became an importance study. Smart antenna is divided into two main types. One is Beam-Switch system, another is adaptive antenna array. A phase array beam switching type architecture is proposed in this thesis. Utilize the active and passive components combined with automatic control system software, a switch beam antenna system can develop more beam directions and improve the beamforming accuracy. Different parameters are setting to control the phase and distance among different antenna elements for evaluating the performance of switching beam antennas system are fully investigated. Finally, the proposed beam switching antenna system are placed in an indoor simulation tools to evaluate its feasibility of placing phase array system in indoor environment. As the result shown, the receiving signal level can be enhanced by 10~30dBm with properly parameters setting. The proposed phase array system has less complexity than adaptive antenna array system, while providing more capability than traditional switch beam antenna systems.
