近年來,由於以IP為基礎的無線通訊技術的快速演進,消費者能夠以高速的頻寬享受高畫質影音和行動上網的服務,進而提升到隨時隨地都可以看電視的需求。故歐洲數位視訊廣播技術發展組織(Digital Video Broadcast Projesct,DVB Project)提出DVB-Handheld(DVB-H)技術。本論文主要是探討與加強手持式數位廣播的網路與傳輸層軟體架構之設計。FLUTE網路協定於DVB-H中負責重要系統資訊的傳送,為處理FLUTE封包遺失情形,本論文加入FLUTE file repair 功能區塊,讓重要的系統資訊完整且省時的傳送至用戶端。本論文另一加強功能為RTSP區塊。RTSP區塊的實現能正確且有效率的將即時視訊與音訊串流內容分別送至相對應的應用層解碼模組中並利用與播放器的共同處理達成影音同步的要求。本研究成果可與其餘DVB-H接收系統之相關模組整合以實現完整的DVB-H接收系統。
In recent years, due to the rapid advances in IP-based wireless technologies, consumers are able to enjoy high definition videos and mobile data services through high speed networks. Now the need for multimedia services has evolved into watching television anywhere and anytime. To meet this requirement, the Digital Video Broadcast Project, or DVB Project, proposed the DVB-Handheld (DVB-H) standard. This thesis is focused on studying and enhancing the transmission layer architecture and networking of the DVB-H software. The FLUTE network protocol is responsible for the delivery of important system information in DVB-H. To handle events of FLUTE packet loss, this thesis added a FLUTE file repair section to the protocol, enabling consistent and time-saving delivery of important system information to the client end. Another enhancement presented in the thesis is the RTSP section. Implementing the RTSP section allows efficient and error-free delivery of real-time video and audio streams to their respective application layer decoding modules and along with the video player, is able to achieve audio-video synchronization. The results from this study can be integrated with other DVB-H system reception modules into a complete DVB-H receiver system.
