同時傳送光纖有線電視與光纖微波訊號建構於光纖微波傳輸系統

Simultaneous Transmission of CATV and Radio-over-Fiber Signals

摘要


在通訊產業急速的發展下,寬頻網路已從過往聲音、影像及數據走向以數據、聲音、影像、移動為主。混合式光纖有線電視與光纖微波傳輸系統,提供非常好的整合方式來整合有線電視、光纖及無線技術。 在現今的研究中,使用多載波類比電視訊號整合極化調變方式的數位訊號很少。由於,極化調變器不需使用電路或是另外加偏壓來控制,且擁有強度一致的光信號,可對抗光纖非線性效應,大大提升傳輸端的可靠度。 本論文利用極化調變器的特性,提供同時傳輸光纖有線電視及光纖微波訊號經由光纖傳輸至用戶端的實驗架構。在頭端的部份中,雷射直接調變多載波的電視訊號,經由極化調變器後以光纖傳送20公里。在解調變的部分,使用偏振片將相位訊號轉成強度訊號,解調回強度訊號。量測所得的載波雜訊比、載波合成二次拍差比、載波合成三次拍差比及誤碼率,都皆符合有線電視及光纖微波系統的性能要求。

In the rapid development communications industry, the broadband network from triple play (voice, video and data) into quadruple play (voice, video, data and movement). A hybrid CATV/ROF transport system provides a prominent method to combine CATV, optical fibers and wireless technology. Nevertheless, there is a few PM modulation method which be used in multi-carrier analogy CATV transport systems in the current research .In addition to, PM has many advantages that no requires other external control modulator or biasing and also has high optical intensity signal to against fiber nonlinear effect as well as enhance the reliability of the transmitter. In this research, we proposed and experimentally demonstrated a simultaneous transmission of CATV and radio-over-fiber signals transport system. By directly modulating CATV signal and polarization modulating ROF signal for Optical Network Unit (ONU) over 20 km single-mode fiber (SMF). In the base station, we operate a polarizer to transfer the phase signal into intensity signal. The measured of carrier-to-noise ratio (CNR), composite second-order (CSO), composite triple beat (CTB) and error free bit error rate (BER) values were good performances for CATV and ROF transmission.
