現今市面上的手寫輸入產品越來越多,從手機、PDA、翻譯機到數位筆記本,都有和手寫輸入結合的產品,因為使用手寫輸入可以讓使用者依照自己習慣的手寫方式來展現自己的想法,並且減少使用打字輸入時的學習障礙,因此我們可以看出手寫輸入在這個以物就人的時代中,扮演著重要的角色。現在的產品設計已經從早期的技術導向轉為以顧客導向為主的產品設計,因此了解顧客真正的需求是很重要的,本研究運用分類法萃取消費者對手寫輸入產品的需求,並將所獲得的產品需求轉化為二維的產品屬性,經由凱利方格問卷的填寫獲得消費者對研究產品在所有產品屬性的評分,最後經由資料的分析了解產品間的相似關係,以及本研究產品在重要的產品屬性上是否符合消費者需求。研究結果可以看出本產品在USB裝置中有明顯需要改善的產品屬性,因此產品研發者應該對這些產品屬性加以研究與改進,讓本產品獲得更多消費者的認同與喜愛。
Various products with the handwritten input technology are available in market, such as mobile phones, PDAs(Personal Digital Assistants), electronic translators, and digital notebooks. Though the design of this type of products is often technology-driven, it should also be customer-oriented. That is, to understand customer requirements and implement them into the design. In this study, a new digital notebook was used to compare with other similar products. A sorting method was first applied to elicit consumer requirements as product attributes on these products and measure their relative priorities. Next, the Kelly repertory grids were used to rank the products for each attribute. Finally, a statistical analysis was applied to identify possible attributes of the digital notebook to be improved and their improvement priority. Results showed that the major improvement should be on the USB device of the digital notebook. Hence the developers can improve the associated attributes of the product in order to satisfy consumers.
