無線行動感測器網路上資料收集協定與覆蓋率問題之探討

摘要


近年來,許多關於無線感測器網路的研究陸續被提出。在這些研究當中,一個很重要的議題是在能源有相當限制的感測器上,如何有效率地利用有限能源去聚集資料然後傳送到使用者端。目前已經有很多資料收集的通訊協定被提出來,但是這些協定大部分適用在一個靜態的感測器網路上。然而,在許多的應用中,感測器節點是具備有移動的能力,因此本論文探討在感測器節點可移動的情況下,無線感測器網路如何有效率地收集資料。另一方面,無線感測器網路覆蓋面積的完整性將會影響到感測資料的精確性;因此,另一個重要的議題是如何維持整個無線行動感測器網路的覆蓋率。在這篇論文中,筆者將針對無線行動感測器網路提出三個資料收集協定和一套維護覆蓋率的演算法,且將實作出上述所有的協定和演算法,並進一步評估它們的在能源消耗上相關的效能。

Wireless sensor networks have attracted much research attention in recent years. One critical issue in wireless sensor networks is how to gather sensed information in an energy efficient way since the energy is scarce in a sensor node. Many protocols have been proposed for data-gathering or communication between sensor nodes. However, most of these protocols work on static wireless sensor networks. In many applications, a sensor node can move either by outside force or its mobility component. In this thesis, we explore how to gather data in an energy efficient way on mobile wireless sensor networks. Besides, the coverage will affect the accuracy of data on wireless sensor networks. Therefore, another critical issue in wireless sensor networks is how to maintain the coverage of a wireless mobile sensor network. In this thesis, we will present three data-gathering protocols and an algorithm for maintaining the coverage on wireless mobile sensor networks. Last, we will implement all of the protocols and evaluate the performance of our mechanisms.
