藍芽系統之省電方式研究與改善

Research and Improvement of the Power Saving for Bluetooth System

摘要


近年來,藍芽系統已成為生活中相當常見的產品,手機連接週邊設備的方式由傳統的有線連接,漸漸被無線連接藍芽系統取代。當藍芽系統被大量應用在短距離、個人化、非插電設備時,如手機、藍芽耳機、GPS接收器、鍵盤…等設備時,大大的增加了連接週邊設備的便利性。但耗電量過高導致這些設備需要常常充電,反而帶給使用者更多不便性的困擾。因此減少設備耗電量即為本文主要探討方向。 本文將由如何測量藍芽裝置的耗電量進而驗證延長藍芽低功耗裝置的連線間隔對於藍芽低功耗裝置所能節省的耗電量,省電的幅度及比例做出實際的計算與預測值。及比較藍芽v2.1+EDR及藍芽低功耗系統上耗電量的差異。就能透過這個方法降低藍芽系統被應用在短距離無線通訊設備之耗電量,使連接藍芽系統之短距離無線通訊設備能提升使用者之便利性。

In recent years, the Bluetooth system has already become the indispensable products. The connection method of accessory which is from the traditions cable connection changed to wireless connection and support by Bluetooth technology. When Bluetooth system using in the short distance, personal and battery system device;Such as cell phone, BT handset, GPS receiver, BT mouse, BT keyboard…etc. It can be easy to connection with the accessary. But the high power consumption will cause the battery device need charge often, that instead perplex the end user. So reduce the power consumption of the battery system device is a very important topic in this paper. In this paper will provide the measure method of the power consumption for the Bluetooth Low Energy device to get the power consumption data, that we can compare the before and after of the power consumption when we lengthen the connection interval. To calculate the data and percentage of power saving. And we are comparing the current consumption between Bluetooth v2.1+EDR device and Bluetooth low energy device. Then we can reduce the power consumption of Bluetooth system for the short distance connection device, and convenience for the end user.
