臺北科技大學城意象之探討

A Study of the Image of the National Taipei University of Technology Town

摘要


「大學城」是以大學為核心並與周遭地區的工作、教育、研究、居住等生活機能彼此相互依賴,且校園與城市公共空間共融開放的整體生活圈。 「城市意象」為人們在親身體驗或經由閱讀與聽聞城市的外在形象後,與內在既有的經驗、情感記憶重組,最終在腦海中重新顯現出新的城市景象。 「臺北科技大學城」包括臺北科技大學、華山文化創意產業園區、光華商圈、建國啤酒廠與周邊的公共空間,長久以來已發展成市民工作、教育、研究、居住等生活機能相互依賴之獨特都市空間。這些地方經過長時間不同文化背景的發展,延續各時期城市樣貌與市民活動經驗,儼然形成獨一無二的大學城雛型。為確保未來大學城之建構不背離歷史脈絡,應優先釐清臺北科技大學城意象以作為未來實質經營建設之深層結構。 本論文以「誘導式結構理論」為操作方法,透過意象議題、城市與大學城議題、城市公共空間議題、北科大周遭歷史脈絡及北科大學城現況,探討臺北科技大學城的城市意象,整合歸納出18點意象因子,並分為「傳統市集生活面」、「向市民開放的城市大學」、「日治城市的工業地景」三歸結面向,最後經演繹推導出一、「時代套疊的混血市集」;二、「雜沓俱全俯拾即是的生活饗宴」;三、「貼身打造的創意生態圈」三項推論,提供臺北科技大學城未來發展之參考。

“University Town” means that integrate living areas around the university, and the living areas are interrelated which include working, education, academic research, living, and life function support. Moreover, the town combines campus and city public spaces and provides a complete function of living. “City Image” means that people reorganize existing experience, memory, and feelings after people experience themselves or read and heard by surface image, then they show the new city scenes in their mind. “National Taipei University of Technology Town ” includes National Taipei University of Technology, Huashan Cultural and Creative Industry Park, Guanghua Shopping District, Chienkuo Beer Brewery, and other public spaces in university town. It became a unique city space since people have been working, educated, academic research, and lived for a long time. The spaces have experienced difference epochs and cultures for a long time, then continued that old city appearance and lifestyle. Therefore, it is the reason the spaces becoming a unique university town prototype. To ensure the constructivism of university town is conserved historical context, it should priority clarify the image of the National Taipei University of Technology Town as a deep structure for reality management and construction in the future. This thesis takes “Heuristic Structure” as a research method to investigate the image of the National Taipei University of Technology Town, and it bases on the issues of the Image , City and University Town, City Public Spaces, Historical Context Surrounding of NTUT, and Current Survey of the National Taipei University Technology Town . Afterward, we sum up different issues of significance extractions with 18 image factors, then classifies to three induction sides are "Lifestyle in Tradition Market", "City University Opened for Citizen”, and “Landscape of Japanese ruled period Industry”. Finally, we deduce three deductions, “(1) Epochs-Mix of Mestizo Market; (2) Every Merchandises are Mixed and Available Everywhere in Feast of Life; (3) Custom-Made of Creative Ecologies”, and provide a reference for development of the National Taipei University of Technology Town in the future.
