明式主管辦公桌創新設計之探討

近年來，西方人深受東方文化所吸引，中國風與禪風成為全球設計界的設計熱潮。尤其在家具與室內設計產業上，不論是源於中國的中國風，或是源於日本的禪風，都以極簡的風格呈現於世人眼前，而所謂的中國風尤指以明式極簡與實用的風格為代表。但放眼中外，真正鑽研中華文化的特色並巧妙運用於產品設計上的許多設計作品出自於西方設計師，有些華人設計師的中國風設計作品，僅是重製傳統家具或仿製傳統家具圖騰。西方的設計都帶有各國文化的因子，如歐洲各國家具讓人一眼就看出具有濃濃的現代歐式風味；美國家具也帶有美式粗獷的風格；日本家具則傳承細膩的日式文化品味，而將具五千年悠久文化歷史的中國轉化成現代的中國家具設計風格會是什麼？如何才能善用中國文化元素為根基並轉化成當代特有的設計風格？本創作欲以中國家具設計史上最具代表性的明式家具風格為依據，並分析與萃取出具有明式家具文化意涵的意象元素，而以台灣品牌辦公家具主管空間商品發展為背景，將研究結果透過設計應用於該公司現有主管桌產品線上。期能強化其主管桌產品線發展，也制定出往後其他相似風格主管家具發展的規範依據。
