以價值鏈分析與知識管理方法提升工業電腦研發績效之研究-以A公司為例

摘要


近年來工業電腦產業如雨後春筍蓬勃發展,隨著資訊、硬體、網路科技等不斷發展,促使很多不同產業公司紛紛投入工業電腦產業,在這競爭激烈的情形下,為了滿足顧客不斷增加之需求與期望,企業面臨了降低成本、縮短交期、提升品質、全球運籌管理等多方壓力,因此本研究將針對工業電腦產業,以企業內部價值鏈分析個案公司的研發流程及研發管理價值鏈,進而找出相關缺失及影響研發績效的主要因素與關聯性,並運用知識管理的系統與方法,來探討如何改善研發管理,使企業更有競爭力。 本研究採用個案研究法,以A公司為研究對象。A公司是成立於1992年的國際化工業電腦公司,組織架構發展建全,產品服務對象遍及工業、商業、醫療、軍事、娛樂…等各類產業,為工業電腦市場重要供應商之一。1999年成為台灣工業電腦業界第一家上櫃公司。歷年來各產品線得到國家精品獎無數,2007年榮獲工業精銳獎 ,2009年榮獲的觀念與知識管理相結合,對此產業研發管理重新檢視其相應作業流程,歸納出具競爭力之營運價值鏈架構和其知識管理手法,使其對企業、部門事業單位等能提高整體競爭力,為此研究目的。並以個案研究的方法,進行對A公司資料搜集分析和專家訪談結果及研發績效相互印證其論述。本研究歸納分析研究發現如下: 【研究發現 1】研發團隊定期開技術交流會議可提升研發技術層次及競爭力 【研究發現 2】硬體電路模組化及connector統一化設計可縮短研發時程 【研究發現 3】整合共用零件設計會降低研發產品成本及提升產品競爭力 【研究發現 4】改善DFM(Design for manufacture)可提升研發時程績效 【研究發現 5】知識管理會影響研發價值鏈及研發時程績效

Industrial PC is booming over these years. The development of information, hardware and internet technology encourages many companies to invest in Industrial PC. The competition is intensive, in order to satisfy more and more demands and expectations from customers, enterprises face high pressure such as cost reduction, short lead-time, quality improvement, and global operation management…etc. This research focuses on Industrial PC, by the view of value chain to analyze company's R&D flow and R&D management value chain. Moreover, to identify defect and the factor which affects R&D performance . I use the system and method of knowledge management to find out how to improve R&D management, and to make company more competitive. I use case study method and take A company as the object. A company was established in 1992 which is an international industrial PC company. It's organization structure is solid. The products including industrial, commercial, medical, military, entertainment.....It's one of the major Industrial PC supplier. It became the first public company of Industrial PC field in Taiwan. It has received lots of awards e.g. in year 2007, 2009. My research adopt Michael Porter 's value chain and knowledge management to inspect R&D management and R&D flow. I also figure out competitive operation value chain and knowledge management method, to enhance the overall competition of the company and business unit, as the purpose of research. I use case study method to analyze A company , and to interview professionals and R&D performance to prove the views. The findings of my research are as following: 1. Regular technical meeting among R&D team improves technical level and competition 2. To modularize schematic and unify connector design can shorten development time 3. To share component design can lower development cost and enhance product competition 4. To improve DFM (Design for manufacture) can improve development performance 5. Knowledge management will influence R&D value chain and development performance
