在本篇文章中介紹有關於應用於1.575 GHz 給GPS以及2.45 GHz 給ISM頻段為應用的雙頻倒F印刷電路板天線設計。在這裡雙頻天線的設計是螺旋天線以及曲型天線透過共同的具有接地面共平面波導的饋入的方式來設計,而量測的結果在返回損耗在-10 dB下GPS頻段其頻寬為20 MHz,符合GPS規格的2 MHz以上的頻寬,在ISM頻段能概跨的頻寬為280 MHz,也能夠涵蓋2.4 GHz到2.5 GHz的整個工業醫療用頻段的規格。同時也將本篇論文所設計的雙頻天線實際應用在GPS接收機上,進行接收測試並且與一般GPS接收機常用的圓極化貼片型陶瓷天線比較其接收效果,經過比較後觀察出線性極化天線在圓極化波的系統中也可以得到不錯的效果。也因此可以驗證本篇論文所提出的天線有好的效能以及較為小巧的尺寸,比起典型印刷式倒F型天線省去約38% 的設計空間,並且有較低的高度以及較少的費用,本篇論文的主要貢獻即為可以應用於GPS 接收並且在不影GPS效能的情況下同時可以應用於ISM頻段的雙頻段多用途天線,因此他是很適合應用在行動導航機以及智慧型手機等行動裝置上。
The Printed Inverted-F Antenna (PIFA) related dual-band antenna design for the GPS 1.575 and ISM 2.45 GHz bands applications is introduced in this paper. The spiraling tail of PIFA is designed for GPS and serpentine antenna of PIFA is designed for ISM band. Then, our measurement results can show that the spiral (serpentine) antenna has over -10 dB return loss with 20 MHz (280 MHz) bandwidth to be fitted the specification of the GPS 2 (ISM 100) MHz bandwidth during the GPS 1.57542 (ISM 2.4-2.5) GHz frequency band. Two designs with a dual-band antenna can be integrated within a GPS receiver. Compared the performance with the standard of the right hand circularly polarized patch antenna, the linear polarized antenna, such as the dual-band of PIFA in this design, also has good performance at circularly system. Under the same performance comparison, since our design can reduce 38% layout space than that of the typical PIFA design one, and hence it can get the advantages of the low profile and low cost. Finally, since our proposed design simultaneously owns the GPS and ISM bands of multiple applications, it is suitable for variously practical applications at PND and Smartphone devices.
