導光板掌控著背光模組整體出光的光輝度與均齊度,故導光板的優劣將決定背光模組出光的效益,以往的CCFL或LED光源都採用非偏極光。本文以LED光源的導光板為基礎,針對線偏振光源的不同入射偏振角,探究不同導光板產生的光輝度與均齊度,以及線偏振光的偏振角與導光板不同微結構設計的關係。 本文採用TracePro光學模擬軟體進行實例驗證,建構出不同排列方式微結構的導光板,分為網點與v-cut微結構,微結構排列為底層與雙層排列,排列方式分別為網點區塊分布與v-cut線性函數間斷連續排列,導光板形狀分為長方形與楔形,建構完成後改變入射至導光板的光的偏振軸角度,以及在導光板出光面上設置一偏振片並改變其偏振軸,觀察並分析對光輝度與均齊度產生的影響。
In a backlight module, the light guide plate controls the brightness and the uniformity, so it determines the output efficiency of the module. Formerly, CCFL or the LED light source uses the unpolarized light. In this article, based on the Light Guide Plate with LED light source, we investigate the variation of the brightness and the uniformity with respect to the polarization angle of the linear polarized light for different microstructures of Light Guide Plates. In this paper, TracePro optical simulation software was tested to construct a light guide plate of different arrangement of micro-structure, which divided into dot pattern and v-cut micro-structure, tiles on the bottom or double-layer of the light guide plate, tiles variation types were block distribution with dot pattern, linear function of the intermittent continuous distribution with v-cut, light guide plate is divided into rectangular and wedge shape, after this construction, rotates the light's polarization axis incident to light guide plate, and set a polarizer on the surface of the light guide plate and rotates its polarization axis, Observe and analysis the influence of linear polarized light on brightness and uniformity.
