建構於雲端測試平台上資源監控與排程方法

A Novel Approach for Resource Monitoring and Scheduling on Cloud Testing Platform

摘要


軟體測試工廠之雲端測試平台(Software Testing Factory-Cloud Testing Platform,STF-CTP),提供Android 開發者進行App的測試服務,開發者只需將待測程式與測試程式上傳至STF-CTP即可在不同手機平台上進行相容性測試。當大量測試同時進行時,造成每位開發者等待時間過長。本論文提出一套動態資源監控與排程方法,藉此提供手機與虛擬機器的管理與監控機制,以確保每個測試工作都能有效的配置到手機資源,降低每位使用者進行測試時所需的等待時間。

STF-CTP provides an app test service for Android developers. After the developer upload tested apk and test apk on STF-CTP, STF-CTP will automatically run all tests on some mobiles. When lots of tests run on STP-CTP at the same time, every developer will wait for a long time. This thesis proposes a novel approach for resource monitoring and scheduling dynamically. It provides mobiles' and VMs' (Virtual Machine) management which makes resource allocation was more efficiently for each test job and reduces test waiting time.
