應用高坐姿於公共空間短暫休憩座椅設計

摘要


高齡者在旅程中之休息時間佔旅程時間一半以上;其中坐著休息的時間佔總休息時間約七成。受測者在旅程中,以休息為目地的停留時間平均為8.6分鐘(張依婷,2007)。高齡者在戶外活動時需求較頻繁的短暫休憩,符合高坐姿座椅之特性。高坐姿座椅適用年齡層相異的族群,本研究以通用設計的思考研發適用於不同身高使用者之高坐姿座椅尺度。 本研究探討高齡者使用公共座椅時所面臨的問題與需求,並針對國內環境與國人身高尺度進行規劃與設計,提出通用概念設計的公共高坐姿座椅,以單一尺度條件滿足不同身高使用者的需求。首先,分析現有「高坐姿座椅案例」之材料與結構。其次,實施「高坐姿實驗模型驗證」。以實驗模型檢測能適用不同身高使用者的高坐姿座椅尺度條件。最後,透過專家學者以PPP評價進行驗證。研究結果如下: (1)坐姿與座高:以國人身高第5百分位數之「臀缘高」設計座椅,能達到使用上公平性與容易理解使用,且能輔助支撐乘坐者的行李與隨身物品。 (2)座面深度:隨著座高的增加,乘坐者的座面區域範圍也會隨之減少,因此靠背以不對稱(介於200-300mm間)的斜度設計,適用不同坐姿及廣泛的身高族群。 (3)靠背與扶手:短時間的休憩坐姿較不依賴靠背,因此整體以鋼管與模組化結構設計,靠背與扶手整合為一。

When elderly people taking a trip, resting time can take up more than 50 percent of the journey, and 70 percent of resting time was in sitting posture. Based on literature review, average rest time during a trip was 8.6 minutes. Therefore, older people demand frequent and short resting time. For that reason, high sitting posture could be the answer, also for the universal design point of view, high sitting posture are more suitable for various age groups and users of different height. This study focussed to review older people’s needs and problems, when taking a rest in public places. I have proposed high sitting posture seat incorporated with universal design, with one-size-fits-all design in mind. Firstly, high sitting posture seats materials and structures were analysed. Secondly, I conducted high sitting posture experiment, using experimental model for determining universal sitting high and scale for high sitting posture. Thirdly, expert review was carried out by employing PPP (Product Performance Program) to evaluate final design. Three main conclusions are as follows: (1) Sitting position and height of seat: I chose 5 percentile of Gluteal furrow height as siting height for fairness and easy to use. Besides, the siting rail can be used for supporting passengers’ luggage and objects. (2) Depth of seat: Because of high-seat position, the depth of seat was decreased. Consequently, I used unsymmetrical design for different sitting posture and people of different height. (3) Backrest and armrests: Back rail of steel tube can be used as backrest.
